U.S. Exotics is the only company to make the WS9, but they are no longer in the F-body business and no longer make the hoods. Every so often,though, they will sell a WS9 hood on Ebay that they have in stock. U.S. Exotics sold the WS9 outlaw mold to VFN, so the WS9 Outlaw is really the only one you can buy anytime.

Not true....ive been talking to Roger the owner of US exotics and he's still making and selling them.He has some listed on ebay and is also working on a website.

there is no WS9 or an LT1, the WS9 is for 98-02 trans ams only

WS9 is the RPO code for a firebird that was turned into a trans am from the factory.If you have the code in your driver door than technically you can say you have a ws9....just some of us decide to show it with a hood and a badge

i was just asking. when i got the car i said "ws9 never heard of that".
i ll try to get a pic of the stickers like next week.
also if it means it was a formula that was turned into a trans am that would mean my car is a trans am. correct?

but that code means it was a firebird formula that was turned into a trans am.

then i dont think its an actual WS9. it could be, but i thought only the actual trans am's could be the WS6 and WS9 cars

i have seen w56 forumlas but i ad never heard of ws9 before.
the sticker is the one form the factory. so idk what the deal is with that code.

hummm i dunno. you should make a thread for that. im knida intrested in knowing now myself. I nkew there was a WS9 RPO code but dont know if it means much or if anything at all and whatc ars did and didnt have it. the WS56 was for V6 cars

I vote WS9 - The heat extractors add alot to the overall look. If you were going for the "Factory" look obviously that wouldnt work, but if you are going for the "BADASS" look then WS9 all the way!
