help: calipers look cloudy after clear coating? I painted my calipers black today and waited an hour for them to dry before I clearcoated them. I sprayed a little bit of clear coat on the calipers and stopped once I noticed the clear coat left a cloudy, grayish residue on the caliper. Is this normal? Does it go clear after it dries? I used the engine enamel spray paint cans.
