35% looks great on these cars and is not too dark at night. Tint makes just about any car look better.

when i install my rollcage, i will probably pull my 5% off the car.

The way i see it though is the kind of money i'm spending on seats/carpet/shifter/rollcage/belts/steering wheel people wanna see these things at car shows/cruise ins and so on. It's nice to leave the windows up where people can't reach into the car though.

I don't know about all states, but if ANYBODY gets their windows tinted, they know what the state law is on window light transmittance to be on the road, and NOT INSPECTION LAWS. For example, in Texas, you can pass a state inspection with 20% tint on your front windows. However, if a cop pulls you over and it's under 25%, you get a ticket. Mine was gauged at 26% in the front and 10% in the back. And it's damn hard to see out of the back window while driving at night because of the angle. I would only recommend getting 10% and higher in the back.

i got pulled over once in 1 year of having my sides tinted at 20% the fine was $160 or $180 but if you know a cop then just get the ticket signed off and only pay $10.

i think mine is 35% right now, i'm about to go back with 25% just so it's legal. I'd do 5% but i dont want a ticket

Go for it...I hated my car without tint. I have 15% on the rear and 35% on the sides I want to get it darker on the sides though probably get some tint on the front to.
