Custom LED!! DOME and Map LIGHTING
Im excited, I ordered Bulbs for up front for map lighting and for the dome... He he I used 18 150,000 mcd 10mm leds for the dome light... I did the figuring its like having a 40 watt bulb in the dome light... Ha im exicted to get it done.. pics coming soon

yea my LEDs in the map lights are bright, but with them being LED,s it doesnt travel very far. so when you try and read something, like a map or whatever, even at night, it doesnt help much lol. i hope this turns out well for u!

1quick.. You might want to check your resistors.... Make sure you calculated that when the car is on iits running at 13.9 volts not 12.. Make sure you check that.. if its not that it might be arching in the metal on the roof.. Mine did that a couple times on pre fitment

The guy that made my cargo lamp was aware of the voltage issue and used the correct resistors. The back of the board is covered where it would hit against the roof metal - but maybe some of the leads punched thru the covering and is touching - I'll check that out.
Funny it would arc only on WOT throttle though and not all the time?
Or could it be that I use the Casper's Volt Booster - which boosts the voltage to the car at a certain throttle opening? Maybe this is putting out more than 13.9V at WOT and the resistors are not rated correctly under these circumstances?
