Paint hatch w berger panel?

Paint hatch w berger panel? I was thinking it would look good to paint the bottom of the hatch black to match a berger panel. Just so the black extends to the top of the tail lights. I like berger panels, but think it would look good w/out the lights sticking over the top of it. The old bergers and other muscle cars with this treatment tipically surrounded the taillights w black, right?
Has any one done this (there has gotta be, right?)?
Anyone out there w photoshop skills want to experiment?
Anyone have pics of a monterey maroon car w/ a berger panel?

I don't think it has been covered but I have seen it suggested. I couldn't even tell you where to begin to look on the forum unless you do a search under berger panel. I think there have been a couple off photoshops of this. IMHO, it kinda loses its flow when you extend it to the hatch but again that it just my opinion.

K9 pusher - I am not much of a photo guy, but i have a few pics here: http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/subtlez28/ only the track pics are after the koni-lower perch/hose mod drop. I need to clean it up and get some GOOD pics, but I do dig the action shots.

I have a gloss black panel coming via Ebay...I think I may find some black vinal decal to apply to the hatch to test out the look b4 I commit to paint. I'm also giong to evaluate the gloss black and decide if I'm going to go satin instead. What do u think on the gloss vs satin black issue on a MMM car?
