Default Interior paint removal?

I bought my car and the inside had some of the pieces painted pewter to match the car. It was well done but not my style. Does anyone know anything that would take the paint off the plastic pieces without messing the plastic up? If it messes it up, im just going to respray it black, but would rather have it back to the way it was originally.

Thanks

whoever painted them, probably sanded the plastic a little so the paint would stick.

best bet is to sand them just enough to get the color off, sand them smooth using higher grit paper, then spray a semi gloss black or whatever shade you want.

or, perhaps find someone who would want those pieces and trade for stockers.
