The amber on both my sets doesn't look like a sticker. Quality is the same as the original...I mean they're still a GM part. Some like them some dont, most people that see mine in person tend to really like them. Suddle difference that only a few people notice.

I'm not a fan of the LT1 tail lights personally, i have a set from a 94 i had and they just collect dust.

Don't you have to modify the connections to get them to fit on the export lights? Is it hard to do?

I have them on my car and love them. It's just one of those things that helps set your car apart from the rest.

For pictures of them on my LT1 and LS1 check out RedLS1.com

Blu Beast: very nice looking car, and damn, that parking lot is dead!

DEMONBIRD: nice job on your tail lights all red, but is it legal?

They are overpriced and I agree with NightWindDriftr: "only people who have a trained eye for Camaros will really notice them."

Eh, they used to be crazy priced, i think now they just fall in an expensive exterior mod class. Not all that pricey but sometimes hard to find. No wiring change is needed just move the lights around is all i had to do.

Not a question that comes to mind when I mod my car

I'm in California, where burning gasoline is pretty much illegal

Whistler mod the headlights, get some black housing clear turnsignals and a nice black billet grille with SS emblems (but paint them to be red and black), and last but not least a satin black Berger panel with chrome CAMARO inserts and you'll achieve it !

I say go for it if you can find a good set. I had them on my old SS and really liked them.

I love them and finally found a set of my own. Hubby was letting me borrow his from Yellin' SS. The set I got has 2 tiny cracks that aren't very noticeable for $300.00

That set on ebay went for just over $117. Cheap.
Guess they're not as popular as they were a year ago, ...

I bought my set for $150 bucks. Also I seen LT1 style cars running around germany with exports too. I like um you just gotta modify the housing a little.

How did you have to modify the housing? Mine fit in without any modification at all...

If you own an LT1 Camaro here's a walk-through I put together showing you how to make them work.

Those export lights are gross looking.

There's nothing wrong with the stock LS1 taillights.

The tabs on the sockets were to big . So I used a razor blade to enlargen the portion on the housing. I rather modify the housing then my sockets. Works fine and you cant even tell that it was modified because the razor blade made a clean cut. And that was the only thing I could find at the time was razor blades. I also used F4 tape to wrap up the unused socket.

i wanted to get a set of the export taillights but wasnt going to spend $500for a used set 2 years ago so i bought orange\amber led turn signnal bulbs and replaced the running light bulbs with them so that now the brake lights still light up red but when im just cruisin theirs a bit of amber glowing from the red lense.
i know it might sound silly but it looks pretty cool and helps disguise the the car from the rear so now i have all the ricers come flying up to me b4 they slam on their brakes but b4 they used to stay way back.
