Default 7K+ Tach

i know when you start adding H/C/I, many engines can rev 7K+ but, our stock tach only goes to 7K. i seen how Granitelli makes a cluster with 200MPH readings, and was wondering if anyone makes/calibrates a cluster that reads like 8K or somthing like that. i like the stock look and dont want an aftermarket tach in my car.

If you're just wanting to shift at the correct rpm, adding a shift light will do the trick. If you have to see the correct rpm on a tach, you're pretty much stuck with an aftermarket unit.

Get a good aftermarket tach. I didn't want one at first, I have grown to like it. Not to mention that our stock tachs SUCK, they are slow, and not accurate.
