What exactly does WS6 stand for besides that fact it is a package you can buy from the factory as an upgrade

It doesn't stand for anything. It's just an RPO code (option code) that you can view on your door or window sticker.

What about WS.6 = World Series 6. Just kidding I don't know dude, it would be a good question. the think is that some people think that the 6 at the end means that the car has 6 cylinders.

It's just an RPO code. I believe it started off as the RPO code for disc brakes.

It's like Z28, Z24, Z73, and all the other cool-sounding RPO codes.....WS6 just sounded cool, so they used it as a moniker.
