I was waiting on a post like this today. I was expecting mine to get it last night b/c of all the ****** that live in my neighborhood. If it was only on there last night and you washed it off this morning, you should be ok. Whenever it sets in the sun is when it does the damage.
Funny story, when I moved to where I live now, I was coming home one night at about 1 am and I topped over a hill on my road and there were 2 high schoolers beside the road mooning me. I yanked the e-brake and jumped out of the car and chased them down. It was funny b/c apparently they had been doing it all night long and they weren't expecting anyone to jump out of their car and chase them through 3 people's yards. I was chasing them and they were saying "oh ****, oh ****" lmao. I laughed all the way back to the car.

No, you did the only thing you could do which was wash it off. Good thing it didnt bake on like it was during the afternoon. I think since it was all at night and u noticed in the morning and washed it off oyu should be ok.

This is why i put my car in the garage And the fact that i hate in the morning when the car gets soaking wet

Be sure to wash it off like you did and run a claybar over it if you get the chance to or have access to one. Claybar will clean off EVERYTHING above the clearcoat on your paint and will ensure nothing is left over. I've seen several people get their cars egged and wash them off only to find out they didn't get it all and ended up messing it up.

After claybar though, be sure to rewax or polish the area too. It will strip whatever wax or polish you have on there.

You pulled the e-brake and hopped out of the car to literally chase down some ***?

My car is always outside, too. The only insurance I have against some of the neighborhood punks messin with my car is......... I just kiss thier ***. I hate doing it, but I always talk to or wave to them as they go by, they say "nice car, man." And I'll talk awhile about it to them.
One of them told me a couple years ago about how they were messing with some cars in peoples driveways, and one of the kids wanted to egg my car, and the other kids were like, "no way man, not him, that guys cool."
So I guess it pays to be nice, cuz most kids these days don't even have a conscience.

My car & my exes were egged a few years ago...Both cars were left with dimples in the paint..They must have chucked them from close range to do that kind of damage..bastards are lucky I didn't see them.

I had my truck egged last year and here's the damage

This year my cars were on lock-down so I didn't have to crack any skulls.

I would have thrown eggs at him before bringing him back to his mom.

Your lucky. Here's my story. My father who was about 60 at the time was leaving for work when he caught a kid from the block throwing small stones at his car. He caught the kid and draged him to his parents house down the block to complain. Low and behold the parents call the cops on my father to complain that he assulted their 12 year old kid. Cops came and wanted to arrest my father on the parents complaint. Took over an hour to defuse the situation and my father had to apoligize to the kid and say that he will never put his hands on him again. How you like that, the victim gets screwed by the system. Becareful how you deal with minors, especially holding them or draging them home. Could of been very costly just hiring a bloodsucking lawer to go to court.
