I should heat the moldings when they are still on and just pull them off then go with some goo gone and what not

I started taking mine off a couple days ago and am going to finish tomorrow. I used floss and a heat gun so I wouldn't burn up my blow dryer. I am probably going to use fishing line tomorrow since its a lil stronger. I also Have the arctic white color!

I would really like to do this mod, but I fear that the black paint will be in better condition than the rest of the car. I know I have kept the factory black paint as good as it can be, but no way as well as a protected section from the sun etc etc.

mine wasnt different at all....it actually worked out quite nicely! I was afraid of that too but i went ahead and said to the hell with it!

yeah i was worried but my paint is the exact same... It looks great... im going to post pictures here soon.

I just did mine today! Looks amazing!! I was worried about doing it but you couldn't pay me enough to put the molding back on. The lines look sharp now! If ur afraid of the color not matching up just take off mone of the small front or back peices and see how it looks before you strip the whole car. A heat gun and fishing line work wonders!!
