engine bay.... opinions wanted
i already have the berger panel done, im getting a sunoco cowl hood in a week or so and im going to have the sides of the cowl painted black. im also debating painting my draglights black but leaving the lip chrome.
I dont care for it but thats just my oppinion..
I hope you used a good quality paint like a base/clear with a flattening agent in the clear. If you used an erosol type paint like Krylon you will have to be very careful. It will scratch off easily and be highlighted by pewter and any gas/brake fluid ect. will eat it off instantly. I think a year or so and several scratches/spills with brake fluid, peeling ect. down the road you might be kicking your self and wishing you had left it alone.

Verdad Gallardo i did use an aerosol paint but the entire car is going to be repainted next winter. i'll just have to be very careful putting the engine back in so i dotn scratch anything.
Looks good... but like someone else mentioned about scratching the paint and revealing the pewter underneath. You've going to have to be VERY careful.
Here are pics of my repainted engine bay using the Dupli-Color rattle cans for reference. The Dupli-Color "OEM" paint almost matches the factory Sebring Silver.
