Default oven trick for turns/drls?

Just wondering if it's safe to stick the turn signals from an ls1 TA in the oven so they can be popped open for cleaning like a camaro headlight. Car is a 98 so they're getting waaayy foggy.

Thanks

im not sure about the T/A turn signals, but i tried it with a set of ebay camaro clear corners and had them in there for damn near 30 minutes and i couldnt even find a spot to stick the knife in between the plastic and the housing.

its like there is not glue/sealant to even heat up. i think theyre like melted together or something, i dont know. but if you want to try and put them in the oven youll be fine. worst case scenario nothing will happen. but i wouldnt put them in any higher than 250 and i wouldnt leave them in any longer than 30 minutes.

Also, i think most of the haze happens on the outside. So here is what you do.
1) go to autozone and pick up some meguiars plastX. works great if theyre not severely hazed up. i reccomend using this with a the powerball.

2) if theyre bad then go to wal-mart, they sell a little 10$ dollar headlight restoration kit. all u need is a drill and i would buy some plastX to restore the shine. it comes with sand paper and everything you need.

3) there is a write up in the appearance hall of fame about this too.

4) you can always go on ebay and buy some clear ones, or night shade your stockers black, or just buy a used set for cheap.

thanks for the info guys, saved me some time for sure. I'll try cleaning up the outsides and if that's no good I suppose I'll have to check on ebay for a couple new ones eventually like you suggested.
