how to spot an aftermarket hood?

Default how to spot an aftermarket hood?

whats the biggest diffence between an oem and aftermarket ss hood that i could see in pictures?

the underside of an OEM has the fiberglass or whatever smooth. all the aftermarket ones ive seen have the underside fairly rough in some areas at least

The underside of my SS hood looks pretty good its the top that leaves something to be desired. I know how to spot the difference on LT1 SS hoods but i don't know if it carried over to LS1 SS hoods. Here is a link to the underside of an aftermarket LT1 SS hood.

I've never seen an aftermarket LT1 SS hood that has a seam on the underside of it. The real LT1 SS hood on my buddy's 97 SS has a seam where i drew the green line except the seam/green line goes all the way across the bottom. I don't know if OEM LS1 SS hoods have this seam but maybe someone can confirm it.
