i love love love the interiors in them. I would pay $5000 to have my ta interior swapped if it would fit. Will it fit? probably not but i love the interiors. I want to buy a red or black with the red leather for a daily driver. But your question was body style. I think it should have been the next gen grand am. The ausies know how to do it right. The hsv quattro coupe is one of the most bad *** cars ever made. They body is considerably different and nice, all except the rear bumper. And all wheel drive is so awesome i wish we could fit it to our cars cause its the same transmission and all but wed have to modify our floor plan which is pricey. I called some people in australia from hsv and they said they converted one trans am but they used a system from an escalade and thats all the quattro has. But the trans am was trashed and dissassembled, it was to be unveiled at a gm auto show somewhere
I dont really like them. As stated above, they just dont scream, look at me. Kinda plain. No offense to those that own one, nice interior and of course the engine is hot. But hey what do I know, I drive a catfish.

Well we are in F-Body land, its expected that half the people aren't going to like the GTO. Thats OK though, everybody cant have nice taste in automotive styling.
The Camaro is a catfish, the GTO is a Grand Prix, and the Firebird is overcompensating just like the Vette guys. I think they're all great looking cars in their respective ways.

well i dont know, back in 64 the gto was originallyjust a high performance edition of the lemans, which i may say was not the most muscular looking car, it started off as a family car, and branched off into a legacy, like the new GTO, it may not be the biggest looker in the bunch but it sure has some *****
they are a little plain but i still like them the ar ebuilt well and comfortable it would be a nice DD with enough power to play around alittle too. I would take one in a heartbeat but i wouldnt trade my SS for one.
I sold my 99Z28 to get my GTO and I love it. Car is on another level of quality, handles better, and I get twice as many good comments from people in general. And as much flaming as im bout to get, the GTO will roll out on a F-Body stock for stock in every instance I have had.
