I picked up a brand new never painted tail panel on Sunday from a guy for $30.
Took it to my dad's friend shop who works on high end cars only. There were DB9's, F430's, Lotus's, and the like in there when I dropped the panel off today. He said the panel needs to be primered and sanded to 800 since Stain Black is a thin paint. If it isn't sanded, the Stain Black will show all the little imperfections.Once the panel is done, I will be installing stainless steel CAMARO inserts from muffinbuster that I ordered this past week. I might even stick my GMMG badge on the rear.
If it comes out how I picture it in my head it should look killer.
Still debating if I should put the bowtie chevy logo and Z28 on the right side of the panel below the tail light.
