The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Take some makeshift props with you the next time you shoot. This could be something as small as a few shoe boxes and a few pens. Get the camera up off the ground just a bit, then use a pen or some other form of a "shim" to angle the camera up towards the car. Set the camera on the "A" setting which is aperture priority and set the f-stop (the number you can adjust in this setting) as low as possible. Then set the camera to go off on the timer so that after you snap the shot it'll give the camera a few seconds to steady which will reduce alot of blur and make your pictures more sharp. Lastly play with the ISO on night shoots. Try it at 100 then try it at 400 and look at the difference. Try it at 200 to see what you get in the middle and how it compares then dial it in so that you're getting exactly what you want out of the pictures.
Just those few simple things can get you a great shot.
