problem with LED bulbs in the DRLs...
problem with LED bulbs in the DRLs... I tried switchbacks in my DRLs (and replaced the flasher)... I didn't like them because they are amber unless the headlights are on, so i took them out in favor for some all-white LED tower bulbs.
now the problem is that, when the headlights are on, they will barely blink with the turn signal... but blink fine when the headlight switch isn't on.
not sure why it's doing this, maybe you guys can help me out?

It might be the type of LED bulb youre using. A regular LED bulb is not the best thing to use when using in a fixture that uses a 3157 bulb (bulbs with two filaments). The LED will hardly show a difference in brightness when using the turn signals. You need to find a LED bulb with a bunch of seperate LEDs in it and make sure it will only light a few when its in the steady on position, and then light all of them when the turn signal is used. Like on the newer Caddies. Only the outer perimeter Leds are on with the running lights. But when the brakes are hit, the entire tailight lights up. Thats just my .02 i guess.

I really like these that I have, as far as the color and brightness.. they are tower LEDs with about 25 LEDs on it. i'm just having this damn problem, that I assume is within the wiring of how our lights work?
