Cleaning headlight lense and trying to do a whistler... Last weekend I took apart my headlights to paint them and also to try and wetsand the lenses so theyd be less cloudy. first off one lense, the paint didnt come out well, should i sand the paint back off it and repaint it, or whats the best way to make it smooth? it had some bubbles in the paint and i tried to sand it before it was dry so it came out kind of messed up, so i need to start over on that one. and also on both lenses, they ended up looking cloudier then before, what did i do wrong? i thought i spent a good amount of time with the sandpaper, although i did use well water instead of bottled water, could htat make a difference? i used meguairs plastic polish i beleive to finish off and it still didnt come out too good
