best wax What is the best wax for a black car, I read along time ago that their was a product called zion or something like that? Where can I find that wax at, what do you guys use on your chrome rims to keep them shinny?

I think we made it almost two weeks this time without this question.
There is no best. Proper prep work is the key with any product. After that, try a few different waxes/sealants and use what you like best.
A few popular sealants - Zaino, Werkstatt, Wolfgang, Tropi-Care, Mother's Reflections.
A few popular waxes - Pinnacle, P21s/S100, Meguiar's #26.

there was this wax i used to use, it was specific for black cars. they dont make it anymore, atleast i cant find it. i think it was made by the people who make blue coral products. ive tried quite a few things and i really want to try zaino sometime. id like to get someone from my area to help me with my first coat if i ever buy the stuff so i can learn the ropes. like to get all the little swirls out. if and when i do it, im goin all out and not just a few coats, id do the full treatment
its all about personal preference. i think that if ur a newbie, like me, u cant go wrong with meguiars. im assuming ur gonna do this by hand? try the meguiars 3 step process. use a clay bar after u wash, before u apply the 1st step.
also, my friends dad used to have a black ta, he used to use banana wax on his car. ne one ever hear of this? it use to leave his car looking KILLER!!!!! but it didnt have the same effect on his sons red ss. so maybe look into this banana wax...

I stick a bunch of birthday candles on mine and burn them all the way down. Gives me a great glazed look.
