Just one screw, then slide headlights inward to free the the two plastic clips that are molded into the brackets.

Yes. You should be able to see the clips/tabs on the bottom edge of the bracket.

Well, I don't know if you did but, yes, it's just one screw and it's at the top of the bracket in the middle… between the hi-beam and lo-beam. Take that screw all the way out then play with the assembly a little to free it up. Don't force it or you could break those tabs and you won't be able to secure the light assembly. You'd have to buy a whole new light. They don't sell just the bracket.

When i installed my clearcorners on my LT1 car i just removed the splash shields on the bottom and got access to them from there. This method gives you a ton of room to work, and doesn't take very long to get the panels off.

on my 99 to get the lights out it is just that one screw. once its free, you need to play with it. i believe i slid it all the way to the side and turned them to pull them out. its a little funky getting them back in due to how they fit, but once you do it a couple of times is really easy.

and yes, on the 96 i just put the clears in from the bottom. i dont know if the nose is set up like that from the bottom on my 99 or not.

I put my clear corners in from the bottom as well.

If you take out the headlights do you have to re-aim the light/where the light beams shine?

well it toook me awhile to figure out, but i managed. i took the headlights off, unscrewed the turn signal housing, and unscrewed one screw for the body panel which allowed space for the housing to wiggle out. finally got it installed phew!!!!!! now i switched the smaller bulb with a ultra white led bulb, however, the bigger bulb remains the stocker. i couldnt find an "ultra white" bulb rather than the yellowish/orange tint of a clear bulb. anyone know where to find one?

Not unless you are turning the aiming screws, which you don't need to do to remove the light assembly.

i think he means if u put in new headlights, wuld u have to re-align those adjustment screws - in which case, yes, u wuld. just adjust them tot he same length ur old ones are - thats wut i did. may be off by DOT standards, but...i havent had anyone flash at me, and my visibility at night is great.

You can TRY to seal up the clears.. But what most people do is drill small holes on the bottom of the clear corners for water to drain out and clear up any condensation. I have the older style clear corners (looks stock but clear) so I don't notice any fogging.
