I AGREE!!!

I have yet to see a picture of a Whistler Mod headlight in this thread.

All you guys have posted is 1/2 whislter stuff, and you're calling them whistlers. Come on guys, quit confusing people. YOU DON'T HAVE WHISTLERS!!

Doesn't anyone read? (not meant as a flame)

My stockers are mint... and I'm keeping them as-is... hence why I was asking about a spare, second pair...

I disagree. Painting the ribbed area, IMO, makes it look like someone punched it in the face and it has 2 black eyes...

And again, the question was regarding the aftermarket assemblies & their quality & fitment (of which I still can't seem to get a close-up pic with the hood up to show the gasket in detail?)... Not the issue whether "painted OEM lights with painted ribbed areas" look better than "1/2 whistler stuff"...

You can call it whatever you want but it is what is it is. Maybe you can compliment your 'mascara" headlights with some nice aftermarket headlight eyelashes.

And I recommend doing them yourself. And for god's sake, paint the ribbed area and do a true Whistler headlight.

I'm sorry but even though this looks "good" (better than stock):

it looks nowhere near as good as this:

I would get the aftermarket semi-whistler headlights (since you want to keep your stockers) and then FULL Whistler mod them...

I've heard good things about the aftermarket headlights fitting

*NO NEED TO QUOTE PICS!
I like the look of the aftermarket "semi-whistler" better... and I think it suits itself better on my car (Light Pewter Metallic)...

With I believe 3 people posting in this thread that actually HAVE the procarparts versions... I'm not sure why it's like pulling teeth to repeatedly ask for a close-up pic with the hood up showing the difference in the gasket (split) that goes around them and what the actual housing looks like from the top with the hood opened? Pleeease?

Real Whistlers are not bought at all... They are made from your own factory headlights. Costs about $15 to do it, do a search and you'll find the write-up.

Thanks for the pics man... looks great!

Any chance of getting a close-up of the weatherstrip around them?

Unlike stockers, it looks like these guys have a "seam" in the rubber - is that on the top or on the bottom? Or is it a piece that you put on, and you can put the seam where you want it?

Looks fantastic on your silver car, tho...
