You should go ahead and repaint the "Z" red with some better paint now that they're off the car. The stock red paint tends to fade.

I just used DUPLI-COLOR's touch up paint (scratch and fix tube), use the ball point side...it will make painting it much easier.

You can pick whatever color you want to use.

i've been trying to figure out a color that would look good on there besides the red.
a yellow or black color? what do you guys think?

yeah i plan on doing the berger panel, actually just posted on another forum about one a guy had for sale.
I currently don't have any badging on the rear and i'm not sure if i will put any on there either.

Just go in my photobucket. thiers a pic or two with my 69 style z emblems. I love em, thought at first that maybe it was ok, but now i cant imagine going any other way!! Makes the car look so awesome. I like the first gen badges better than the second gen ones but to each thier own!! Yeah and as far as the grinding goes, it took a minute!! Also, my car now has an SS hood, so imagine that in the pic as well!

I just picked up the rear panel today from RxNotec.
Going to have a buddy repaint it before it goes on the car.

Anyone know where to fine a metal bow tie painted red?
I was debating if i should use the plastic one or leave it off. I think i like it better with it on.

O' got the rear panel sanded and shot friday night over at a buddies place.





And that was done with a rattle can, shot with semi black.
For the panel and supplies it cost me $55
