Adjusting the window stops... I've spent the last several months tracking down and fixing all...and I mean ALL of the rattles, squeeks, bumps, rubs, bangs, etc....and I am finally at the point where I have everything but two items fixed. I need to replace an exhaust clamp that is squeeking and I need to adjust the drivers side window to stop some wind noise.
I have taken the door apart and looked around in there to try to figure out how to slide the window towards the front, but I can't figure it out. I thought there was a link for replacing a window motor that also showed how to adjust the window, but I can't find it. Does anyone know where that is or what I am talking about?
BTW, Dynomat on the entire car cures a lot of rattles and squeeks! I also sprayed the underside and wheelwells with Duplicolor Sound Eliminator...that helped some too.
