its just a billet grill with a bowtie on it, just buy the grill and then a bowtie of your choice in color and put it on it.

You can do what most of us have done purchase the Stull billet grille and buy the bowtie (69 Chevelle emblem)

The grille you can purchase from Afterthoughtsauto.com -->
The bowtie you can get on Ebay, Year One, or any other place that sells classic car parts (remember the correct bowtie is the 1969 Chevelle front grille emblem and NOT the Camaro bowtie or else it will not fit correctly)

Regular billet grille that I had painted. I then put on a 69 Camaro bowtie.

OK, so I now know I can purchase the Stull Billet grill and have it look the similar if not the same. Now about the color. I would really like to have it silver (not chrome or black) like an original 1969 Camaro. I am going for that theme. I do not think it is available in silver so would painting it be an option?

Get the brushed finish aluminum. Looks sliver without the hassle of painting.

Afterthoughts auto offers both the black, and the other (like you are looking for)

Hmm...after reviewing pictures I have the ZL1's do have a gunmetal gray looking grill vs the black of all the other Berger(SS, Hot Rod and Dick Harrell cars). I'm sure they just had a standard Stull grill powdercoated gray instead of black.
