Cool, I needed this info aswell. Just recently bought a valance minus the attaching goodies.



Any details on the specific 3 little plastic attaching plugs? I need those too.



My valance is an unpainted new one, but was kinda tweaked in the packaging/shipping process.

Any recomendations for getting my valance back into shape????



Oh, and your car looks killer. My SS is black as well.

You can get those plastic "attaching plugs" at auto zone as well. The two corner ones are 1/2'' and the middle is 1/4''. Maybe you can use a heat gun to get it back to shape. If it's not bad, just put it on and it should go back to shape...

Cool, thanks for the additional details/info. That helps forsure.

I'll get a heat gun and see if that will do the trick. Its bad enough, unfortunately. That, or I'll have to wait till summer for the high temps and sit it out in the sun and let it get nice and soft that way.

They are on ebay pretty frequently, but tend to sell for insane amounts of money. You can find one there forsure, but other sources will tend to be cheaper. Shipping is a killer, and because they are flexible they tend to be packaged in boxes that are actually to small. Thus, mine was tweaked upon arrival (that and the boxing on mine was unbelievably low effort).

mine was all bent up in the box i left it out in my spare room for awhile an it wnet right back into its original shape lol it was kinda wierd left it all bent up thne awhile later went back into the room (i dont go in much storage room) and it was to its original shape .....good luck

Cool, hope mine comes around. Have already tried tweaking in opposite direction with success in one area, but not much in some other areas. So far, its retaining its tweaked shape. Needs some heat.

I just did the !wire mod. Looks a lot better... I suggest if you haven't done it yet, do it!

Ahh, I searched real quick. Very interesting and looks much better.

Also saw some referrence to a hood latch mod. Crap, lots of mods. I'm a newb to these cars, but its really cool how many little to not so little things that one can do. I like the freebie, to almost freebie stuff.

gotta love CME, it looks awsome... where'd you get it if you dont mind me asking? Seems the only place i can find them is super overpriced on ebay.

DAMN those tips look good!!! Who blended the CME to your bumper???

I'm seriously considering getting a custom CME like yours (I need a custom job because I have a Mufflex system with dual 3" out) but first and foremost need to get my hood painted and am wondering who does your work...
