Sticking Badges

I have recently done a berger panel for my Z. I painted up a set of badges (the bowtie and Z28) to match and stuck them on with some super glue. The other day I took the car to a car wash, and I didn't realize it till I get home that the Z28 badge came off. Luckily my room mate just did the berger as well and had given me the Z28 and bowtie badge off the one he bought (his car is a V6). Well I am in the process of painting the Z28 badge and I would like to make sure it doesn't come off this time. Any ideas on what is best to use when applying these?

I have some KA glue that I use to hold the tires to the wheels on my RC car (gas powered). I would rather not use it because due to the fact that it dies kinda white and it is rather fast drying and difficult to work with. I will use that if I have to, but I would like to use something else. Does anyone make some double sided tape that is strong, but isn't very thick? Or anyother glue that is easy to work with?

3M sells an emblem glue (clear), but I would rather use double-sided tape.

I just used molding tape from kragen to stick my ss spoiler on, I think it would work with badges as well.

Get 3m Emblem adhesive double sided tape and trip it to fit the emblem with an xacto knife or box cutter razor... clean the emblem and spot with rubbing alcohol before you apply it. I do this for all my emblems and they are alot heavier then yours... shouldn't have any problems or falling off; i never have

Where can I pick up this 3M Emblem tape? Lowes, Wally world, home depot.

Autozone or Advanced Auto sell double sided tape specifically for sticking emblems. It is made by 3M. I have used it to mount the molding back on my trans am. It has held tight for over a year now with no signs of failing.
