heat extractors?

heat extractors? just wondering if i should get heat extractors for the suncoast creations ss hood? i dont know if its necessary or not please let me know. i will buy them if they r worth it. and was wondering where i should buy the suncoast creations ss hood from suncoast creations or should i buy them from somewhere else? please let me know thanks
When I was getting my hood from SCC, the salesman said "you CAN get them, they are designed to help disipate heat, but I dont think they really do a thing." lol coming from a saleman of the company, I pretty much was told they dont do jack. Just for looks.
