question about door guards

Just wonder what all of you think about the door guards our cars have. I just washed my car today, and I've seen plenty of cars with them off, and it looks pretty good. How many of you guys have taken them off?

i took mine off and i think it looks much better. theres no way i would go back to having 'em.
