I use The Mr. Clean Autodry when I wash so that takes care of the water spots and I scrub them with baby bottle brushes when Im doing the tires. Having good quality pads help keep the dust off as well. I have raybestos quietstops on mine

Upkeep isn't bad by any means. I wash the calipers every time I wash the car and they still look pretty damn good. During the winter (I dd my car) they start looking bad but when I put my z06 wheels back on I'll polish them again and they look like new.
