Not really, I use baby bottle brushes to clean behind the spokes (so I don't have to roll the car) and I use the Mr. Clean to dry. Whenever I wash it on my day off I'll take the tires off and hit it with a little polish

I started cleaning mine up with a fine grit flap wheel on a grinder. Then switch to 120 grit sandpaper until all the grinder marks are gone, move to 220 until the 120 scratches are gone, etc.. all the way up to 2000 grit. Chucked a cotton buffing wheel on my drill and hit it with jeweler's rouge, then Mother's billet polish by hand.

I use The Mr. Clean Autodry when I wash so that takes care of the water spots and I scrub them with baby bottle brushes when Im doing the tires. Having good quality pads help keep the dust off as well. I have raybestos quietstops on mine

Sorry for the crappy pics. The brackets are now painted black also....

Instead of explaining how I did it, I just followed this:
http://formula.bambeezer.com/calipers.htm

Upkeep isn't bad by any means. I wash the calipers every time I wash the car and they still look pretty damn good. During the winter (I dd my car) they start looking bad but when I put my z06 wheels back on I'll polish them again and they look like new.
