lol here goes another rice bashing argument thread.

as far as lowering it, its an amazing difference. Lower it no matter what you do. I used eibacj pro kit and kyb racing shocks. My car ended up neing about 2.5 inches lower in front and anout 2 in back. looks good. lower than most peoples but my oem z06 rims are not even tucked yet there is just no fender gap at all. Nice without being slammed. As far as body kits, there are some simple clean ones that look good not all kits are bad. Just search and search and if you find one you like then check into it. octanemotorsports in sacramento has a lot of products for our cars.

I'd just go gound effects. I think the cars are ugly without the ground effects and I'd never buy one without them People tell me the same thing almost everytime I have my car out anywhere. If you get the factory ones make sure you get the 98 or later model ones where they don't wrap around the whole front end. I've had both and the 93-97 model and the 98-02 model GE's and the 93-97 are always scraping the ground on every little dip you come across. You have to go in and out of drive ways at an angle. The 98-02 never hits.

If you go through and do seaches on all the problems people are having with growling noises, traction, and vibrations on the highway you'll see that that they almost all have lowered their cars and they can't figure out why they have those problems. The fact is, to make it right you have to replace virtually all of the suspension at some point if you lower it. With 40k my car is smooth as can be with no growling or vibrations and gets great traction. Bigger wheels and ground effects will do wonders for the look.

If you don't mind replacing all the suspension and having some vibrations and stuff like that then it will look a little better to lower it some but that's not a price I'm willing to pay. I enjoy driving it more than I do looking at it.

You'll probably regret it down the road.
Yea i was leaning more towards lowering it..the only reason i was thinking about putting ground effects on first b/c i was gonna get a hook up on them and get it painted for free...ill still probally have plug on it so ill probally lower first.. it will last me in the long run..

Lower it but beware of what headers you run! /!\ NO SLP's on a lowered car. I trip on anything.

If you get any kind of ground effects, for them to look good the car has to be lowered. Whether it's a factory RS kit, or aftermarket, they just don't look good at stock height. Stance is everything when it comes to these cars.
