I'm sure this has been discussed by my search attempts have been unsuccessful. I just got a 98 TA guage cluster and wanted to put the overlay plastic seperator thing into my HO SS. Is there a way to seperate it from the clear plastic outer piece? Or do i have to use the old lens as well?

p.s. I was also thinking of painted it orange to match the car, anyone have pics of painted overlays?
