Default exposed headlights

ok so ive heard the quailry on the exposed headlights for T/As just suck and im just wondering why?

They don't fit all that great from what I've heard. I think they're breathless performance headlights or something.

That and theyre ugly. And if I'm gonna pay a grand for headlights, no way in hell are they going to be sealed beam.

X2, if I'm paying $1k for headlights, they better have HIDs
