You definitely need to do a search here on the forum on this subject.

Quick and dirty answer - hood looks good - fitment is for crap. NE1 that has purchased these hoods spends alot of extra $$ and time getting the hood to fit the car properly. Their quality just plain sucks...

unfortunatly, I agree. I do love the look of the hood though. and Id say its worth the money in the end IF you have it to spend. not many TA's out there with this hood. maybe a handful on here, but prolly none in your area. I have always loved the ram air hood's, but there just so everywhere its lost its edge. know what I mean?

I have had nothing but good experiences with my mecham hood as well as their quality and customer service. Unfotunately their older designs were like everyone says....crap.....too many waves in the hood etc. I got a more recent version and im very happy with it.

well no cracking or anything bad. dad got his car in mid/late 02. his only prob.s are not perfect alignment around one headlight lid. and on one side of the scoop/extractor therea re some waves. the waves would have been a breeze to fix if we had bought the hood seperatly and had it painted, but he bought a mecham car, and it got delivered all done up. anyways here is a pic for you.

it seems that is a different version of the hood. i believe the newer version has the enlarged nostrils (like mine) and larger "rolls" leading to the vents
