The LT1 lights have two separate bulbs that light when braking. The LS1s only have one. It would require tapping the two bulbs together, and by doing this, when you hit the turnsignals, both would also light up. If it didn't give your electrical system fits.

Umm weird i heard you use 93-97 taillight harnesses and you need to swich to duel filement "i cant spell SORRY" lights.
The LT1 light houseings should just swap right in i heard one of the lights will be a tight fit. but it will light up the same as a LS1 still only on the ends. I want it to light up red under the reverse section also, and get brighter when you hit the brakes.

Tell your friend to get the chrome Z28 exhaust tips, it would look MUCH better.

I just did this swap this weekend. Whitebird00 was a big help. If you use the LS1 harness the brake and turn signal lights will be seperate. With the LT1 harness the brake and turn signal lights are the same. I used the LT1 harness and bulbs. The LT1 lights are 4 wire instead of 5 wire. All you have to do to get it to work is splice the blue wire coming from the brake switch to terminal P of the 11 pin connector underneath the drivers side dash. If you are going to use the LT1 harness you can pm me for all the details. With the LS1 harness you just have to simply swap light housings. It was very easy to do once whitebird00 showed me the way.

Looking at that silver car^^^^ I can see why you Camaro guys want to swap to the LT1 lights, they look A LOT better. Just IMO, which I do like the LT1 Trans Am tail lights better than the LS1s too.
