Default Detailing question...

I need to ask a detailing question to all you small detailing freaks! How many of you clean where the hinges are on your door? I'm asking because we had snow and ice everywhere for the last month and a half and so I haven't been able to clean up. Now its cleared up so I'm getting her back into shape but there is like mud and gravel and stuff where the door hinges are. I can hear it grinding and stuff when I open and close the door. So how do you all clean inside there? I thought about just spraying in there with a water hose and then drying it and re-greasing the hinges with WD-40 or something.

I use a old tooth brush. Then use a good grease on the hinges.

Thats what I thought but I just wanted to make sure. Don't want rust to start forming in there or anything.

As long as it's all painted I don't think rust will be an issue.
