20% Tint...legal problems

Has anyone anywhere EVER had a legal issue with 20% tint on front windows?

All depends on your state.

Ive got 5% on sides and rear. In the 2 years Ive owned the car, Ive been pulled once (was on my way to a job interview , so he let me go w/ a warning). Getting it inspected...well, thats a different story lol.

got a ticket about 6months ago i have 20% they told me it was legal at the shop but i found out later by a state t. that 40% is the legal on front so i kept it on there and paid 125 dollar ticket yeah it was gay i guess the next time it happens ill take it off

yup...that's why i now have 30%, but yah know what...**** em...i loved my 15% and i'm getting it again when tax returns come in! it looks 10043958304985 times better. lol

5% all the way around for me, 2 year now. No tickets yet, but like said previous it looks a ton better and I am willing to pay the tickets. F um.

in IL we aren't supposed to have ANY tint on the front windows. That said, I have 35%, and have had it for 2 months, gotten 1 written warning already.

i live in lincoln,ne and nope i have 5% tint on the sides and back and no problems at all? is your car a DD? i really don't drive my car much so mayb thats why i don't get stopped?

I live in NJ. No tint is allowed on front windows. I went with 35%. I have had it since July 2005 with no problems at all. A buddy of mine has 20% on his truck and he hasnt had problem since he got it about 4 months ago. It just depands on whether or not the cops around you are real dicks or not. Here in Absecon, the cops dont give a **** about anyhting. haha
