Fortunately, it really only takes just a few minutes to put the molding back on. Just take the advice from other people from in this thread and do one of the small peices first rather than jumping in all the way like I did.

Sorry to hear about that man!

I'd never debadge or remove the side molding no matter who has done it and says its badass. I myself really don't like them removed.

jebus.. I never even thought of that... I !molding mine and I'm glad that didn't happen...

Touch up paint maybe??... a bit much for TU pain, tho.. sux man! Carnuba cleaner wax? Mabye the underneath was just a bit dirty..

as far as the pics of !molding..

It wasn't really the different shades that bothered me. Waxing/polishing could have covered that up. It was the two different layers of paint + the flaking between the two. Way too noticeable.

I should have taken pictures with the molding off, but I'll snap a few shots later on where you can see the problem.

If you're going to do it, best do it before paint has time to fade. It is one of the best mods I have done, but my car was relatively new when I removed the molding.
