for those of you that have done the whistler mod, did you paint inside the headlight on the reflective part or just the housing i know it looks better with the refective part painted but how does it effect the headlights are they alot dimmer ?

When I had my camaro I painted the inner reflective part and the headlights weren't any dimmer than they were without the whistler.

Mine seemed dimmer, but not by much. I think it had more to do with my hazy *** covers and old bulbs then anything else.

I painted the whole headlight inside there is no chrome left and they are dimmer than ****. I do not like them. Athough they do look bad ***!!!

i just did the housing, and it looks good, but when i get a new set of headlights im gonna paint the ridges as well.

just paint the front face, and the part that has the ridges. dont paint the backside part thats chrome.

Shouldnt, if it does its very minimal.

I know that, I was just trying to have him clairfy what he painted as to why its dim.
