I used a 2" hole-saw and destroyed it. Kept it lubed w/WD-40 and didn't matter, wound up buying a 2nd hole-saw do to this. And as Bayer says, 3/8 (or I used 1/2") hose is easier to put into the hole than a grommet rubber...

I've been thinking about doing this and the hidden hood release mod but I just can't get up the nerve to drill that freakin' hole. Maybe one day, definitely looks better out of sight.

advance auto or autozone sells little packs of rubber grommets that have 3 or 4 different sizes in them. it only cost me a couple bucks
