Crap! Messed up the reverse light housing!
Today i decided to remove the tail lights and the center panel to clean behind them as it was all dusty and dirty. I decided to clean the tail lights and i used a napkin to dry inside one of the reverse bulbs and got this
All that black gunk because for some reason the paint just came off so easily. Is it possible to fix this or am i gonna have to buy a new tail light?
Ruined my day for sure

somebody busted my reverse light housing cover on my pass. side taillight, so i have an exposed bulb/silver housing, and i noticed that the silver paint comes off VERY easily too... in fact it started coming off when it rained one day
