Very nice, put that front license plate cover on though, it looks so much better with it on. I had to buy mine at GM for $70 and get it painted but it was well worth it. No trouble from the cops yet.

Get some more pics in the sun and post em' up. That is when this color really stands out. Gotta love SOM!

That is my gf's dream car, well given it is an M6. She almost bought an 02 SOM SS M6, but decided not to. If it would have been an 02 SOM WS6 M6, she wouldnt have hesitated.

Awesome find, congrats

Wish I could have the license plate cover on. Texas law says have to have a front plate. I got pulled over a few times in my other TA and got ticket for it. I'm a newbie here and I was making sure I did posted the picture right, but thanks for the compliments, oh yeah it is a M6.

When I was considering a move north of Houston (The Woodlands), I was told by my other fbody friends that they kept their tag off of their car and hardly ever got introuble about it. From what I understand, the cops will leave you alone unless you give them a reason to be a dick. If i moved to Texas, i'll be keeping the cover on and taking my chance.

Good luck keeping it on. I just got tired of paying for those stupid tickets. Trust me I hate having that front plate. Maybe it's because I look to suspicous. LOL!!!!!

I know your pain. Just make the best of it. The license plate area is just one part of the car, so don't go to great pains to break the law for the appearance. A nice license plate frame can make the plate area look better, followed by continuing to keep up the car's appearance.

Very nice!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Later this year I'm gonna put Torque THrust II"s on. Right now I'm trying to finish my Black 2000 TA. I'll post pics of it soon as well. I just got it back from the paint shop, and right now it's raining here.

I can't get in trouble for it not being there, while the car still looks good. BTW sunset orange was the color I looked so hard for but couldn't get, its a real nice looking car.

This is true. I'm 10 minutes from the woodlands (tomball) and have been running no license plate for the last 2 years.

I have an SS grill and did the same thing. The plate is clearly visible...

The car has a MS3 cam from Texas Speed, KOOK"S long tube headers, an X-pipe built by Lethal Performance. All work was maintained by Lethal Performance. Car was dynoed before I bought it and it put down 420 hp, but I don't remember the torque. I had posted another thread titled "Let's try this again. LOL!!!" you can view a few more pics there.
