Looks good on a 3rd gen...Thi si sthe first 3rd gen and the first time Ive had one on the front of a car...

Im glad you like it...

Looks like theres a gap at the bottom so the 3rd gen is a bit diffrent than the 4thgen

Do me a favor..can you take some shots of the bottom of the antenna and send them to me..I might be able to get you a better match so the antenna bottom covers a bit more of the base

Sure thing man. Pictures are kind of crappy, but its hard taking pictures of a car on a lift!

And their screwd down all the way? Its ok to tweak them a bit..their not fragile....

But Cool...it looks like your base is a bit shorter than 8286's is....

I'll see if I can make one with a base thats a bit longer and deeper so you can screw it down a bit further

Haha.

Mine can be screwed down more, which I will do and retake the pictures (Probably Sunday) but I think Camaro's is screwed down as far as he can.
