Well… I guess I have too much patience because I started my Whistler mod last June and I still haven't finished it yet. I haven't quite gotten the lenses clear enough to suit me so, I haven't glued them back on yet. But they are painted. I went with a matte gray to match my wheels. Here's what they look like so far.



And, here's what they're going on.

So the Whistler mod = painting the inside of the stock headlight a color? Any good pics of the finished product close up? I'm trying to decide between these and Halos.

ok i need to clarify something do you have to sand down the ridges all the way till there is no chrome left as well

where ever there is chrome, the paint will not stick...i never had a problem getting off the chrome from in between the lil ridges.

Actually, everyone I've done I NEVER sanded the chrome completely off... All you do is scuff it with a scotch brite pad and you are good to go !
