maybe a little off topic, but while your under there....if you haven't noticed/took care of this.....

If you have ANY kind of tar build up around the bottom edge, see if you can't get ahold of some autoglym intensiv or tar remover. It worked WONDERS with any concentrated tar (yes, I had some from a previous owner when I got mine) often found around the egdes.

That stuff was made for our cars, its out of germany, but IMO not another thing like it. Wipes off tar with a swipe of the rag like magic!

You could always opt for the Tractor Enamel they sell at Tractor Supply and what not with the hardner.. Its pretty stout stuff.

seeing those pictures makes me wish i would have never undercoated the bottom myself yeasr ago. ps my car never see's rain.
