passenger air bag
passenger air bag Hey fellas dont know if this is the rite forum but im needing to know how to get the passenger air bag out of the car? Do you have to pull the whole ip out of the car? Any help would be great.

Yes it is a BIG JOB, basically the entire dash needs to come out. Turned upside down, and taken apart to remove the air bag. Take out the center console, will make things a lot easier.
Would recommend taking out the steering column, or at least be able unbolt it and drop it way down. Being that far one more bolt and you might as well pull it out. Just do not turn the wheel more than needed once it is removed, or you will take a chance of damaging the coil-wire harness for the air bag.
As for location might have better luck in general repair section, sure a mod will move it.
