Well since I'm a college student the summer is the time to save up and do mods on the car (and since it's Florida, we don't have a Winter Down time).
So here goes.....

Exterior:
-Complete repainting (color is undecided, it's between two very different colors). Dad used to paint cars for a living and we can convert part of his four car garage into a paint booth. So all I have to do is pay for supplies.
-Rims-undecided may go with Z06 or ZR1s until I can do something nicer
-CETA Mod
-LED turn signals
-Clear Side markers
-LED Tag Light (thanks to Brian2006)
-WS9 Outlaw Hood
-Projectors in the headlights with HID (already have everything just need to fab up something!)

Interior:
-Black Carpet
-Black lloyd mats with accents matching the exterior color
-redlinegoods shiftboot, e-brake boot, and armrest cover in ebony with accents to match exterior.
-Re-upholstered seats with inserts and stitching to match exterior (Same guy who did my seats before)
-leather door inserts to match exterior
-Camaro Cluster with LEDs to match exterior
-LEDs in all light sockets lol

Suspension-This will prolly be the very last thing I do!
-Sub-frame connectors
-Re-valved Bilstiens from starno
-Springs (undecided)

Performance-Don't bash
-Lid
-LT Headers
-Custom over the axel true duals (working for a family friend for a couple weeks in exchange for this). Prolly gonna go with bullet mufflers and C6 tips.
-Ported Throttle Body
-Tranny needs to be rebuilt

I'll be working two jobs (Toyota Dealership and Serving at a local restaurant). I'm shooting to do all this stuff by mid-august, I've already made a spread sheet and figured out all of the costs and that's when I should be able to afford to do everything all at once! Minimize the down time! Plus I'll be living back at home for the summer so no rent to pay and no more car payments after the accident lol.

Anyone else got any other summer plans? I can't wait to start modding!

 

Sounds like some good plans there. I have a few plans that are dependent on my summer job (crosses fingers). Basically full suspension, full exhaust, a manta, smoked corners (or VHTd), and maybe some new black wheels. I'm pretty happy with my painted one but might get something fancy.

 

1995 V6 Firebird -> 1999+ T/A WS.6

I'm taking the bird back to stock and selling it and getting a WS.6 or Firehawk. I'm finally in the financial bounds that I can afford to upgrade and finally get a better car. THANK GOD!

No mods after that, except the stuff I take off my car now. Shocks and springs and wheels, unless it's a Hawk then I'll just sell the wheels and be set, lol.

same guy who is doing my exhaust is going to do my tranny. All i have to do is work for him a couple weekends in a row. I trust ya, a couple weekends of working in a nice shop won't be bad for true duals and a rebuilt tranny

 

sounds like a good list. You should have a great looking car before the end of the summer.
