Write up on how to replace gauge overlays?
Write up on how to replace gauge overlays? Anybody got a link how to replace your own gauge overlays? Or is it a major pain in the *** to do yourself? Just wondering if I can get my new ones on without having to take the car in somewhere.
are you talking like a white face/similar overlay? if so it's simple.
drop the column and take the cluster out, take the lens off and put them on. you don't have to take the needles off if you buy good ones, just point the needles straight up or straight down and slide the overlay behind it.
first time install on my ss took me about 40 minutes total... 2nd install on the b4c took maybe a half hour.
btw, if you buy white... make sure your hands are CLEAN when you're handling them.
