Berger or no berger?
i think that flat black in general looks better than gloss... but it really depends on the car. maybe someone with a red car and a berger panel can post some pictures up.

The problem with gloss black is that it looks as if you've taken the entire panel from another car--as if it was damaged and you replaced it cheap. Flat or semi-gloss gives the panel obvious texture and makes it look appropriate in a true berger panel sense!
You may want to save your already factory painted panel and seek for a replacement to paint flat or semi gloss. This way you can always revert back if you ever decide the berger panel doesn't look right anymore.

I'd say leave it alone. Everyone has a berger panel on their camaro and i think its starting to get overplayed. I love the black theme on your car, red and black are a killer combo btw but the berger might be too much black. I had at one time black zr1s, black hood, black halos, and black berger. Had it on my car for like a week and couldn't stand it, so i sold the berger to a buddy of mine
