Engine bay bolt question
Engine bay bolt question Has anyone used just plain bolts from like homedepot to replace all the stock bolts in the bay like the fenders,hood latch etc...
also what do i search for on ebay for a engine bay bolt kit?

I sat outside of work the other day (advance auto) and just unbolted, purchased, and rebolted most of them. I couldn't get all of them in stainless, so I'll probably go to Home depot and replace them sooner or later... All of the bolt kits seemed to be like >$200, and I figure I can do all the ones that bug me for about $20 so.....
thanks i saw that post before. where did he collect the bolts at? i have a LT1 and don't need as many as you guys used. just hood,hood hardware/supports,fenders,front plastic fender,computer,strut tower nuts,fuel rail bolts. thats all i want. a store called handyman has tons of SS allen head bolts and i will check homedepot also.
